Pricing

Providing cost effective solutions…

At Interlingual Inc., we offer competitive rates for high quality translation.  We will beat our competitors’ prices every time, with better, faster results.  It’s quick and free to get a quote.

Several factors impact the cost of translation, including:

  • the type of translation required (oral or documentary)
  • turn around time
  • the length of the materials to be translated
  • the complexity of the materials to be translated
  • the formatting involved with the project
  • administrative costs (i.e. printing, binding, postage, etc.)
  • travel costs (i.e. if our translator must remain at a certain premises to deal with certain documents and/or to attend meetings where translation is required)
  • frequency of services required

To balance these factors, we offer our clients four methods of custom pricing:

These pricing schemes are meant as guidelines only.  Should you require alternative pricing options, we would be happy to work with you to develop a contract that meets your project and pricing needs.

Project-based pricing:

This method of pricing is for clients who have large and/or singular translation projects.  Some examples include websites, annual reports, legal documents, and advertisements.

Generally, clients will pay a one-time contract price.  For large projects, 10% of the contract price is sometimes required as down-payment.

Ongoing materials:

This method of pricing is for clients who have smaller and/or continuing projects which require translation on an ongoing basis, in installments, and/or in the form of updates.

For example, maybe you require the same corporate memo to be translated each month, or maybe you want to translate your restaurant’s menu and still be able to update it frequently.  These are classified as ongoing translation projects.

Clients who require translation on an ongoing, pre-determined basis (such as the monthly corporate memo) have the option to pay in installments according to the frequency of the required translations.

Clients who require translation on a less regular basis (such as updating a restaurant menu) will pay a reduced, flat fee per translation.

Clients who require ongoing translation are automatically eligible for our returning client discount.

Translator-On-Call:

Our Translator-On-Call option is one of our most popular services.  It is perfect for those quick questions that only require a short email or telephone response, or those unexpected circumstances in which a translator is needed urgently on the scene.

Clients pay a subscription fee to gain immediate, 24-hour access to our translators.  Thereafter, clients are charged by the number of calls and/or emails received by the Translator-On-Call and the nature of the response required of the translator.

Billing for this service can be arranged weekly, monthly, or on an annual basis.

Clients who subscribe to our Translator-on-Call service are automatically eligible for our returning client discount.

Many of our frequent clients are eligible for a free Translator-on-Call subscription and will only pay for the requests made to the translator.

Returning client discount:

At Interlingual Inc., the more we get to know you, the easier it is for us to translate your materials.  That’s why we offer reduced rates for returning clients, so the more translation you require, the less expensive it becomes.

Returning clients are eligible for discounts ranging from 5% to 10% off the overall contract price.
